The Gotland sheep of Sweden is one of the rarest breeds in the world. We went to great lengths sourcing a premium supplier of these soft and curly wool hides. We provide ethically sourced sheepskins for North America.

Product description

The unshorn variation of the Gotland hide, known as Matts, offers a wilder, rustic take on this Swedish design staple.

 

DETAILS

As with all of our animal-based products, these sheepskins are a bi-product of the meat industry. The sheep are raised using traditional free-range shepherding practices. The hides are tanned to meet strict statutory environmental requirements.

Care: Shake and/or vacuum occasionally to remove dust and debris. In the event of a spill or stain, mix wool-specific detergent with warm water to produce foam. Using foam only (do not soak or submerge sheepskin in water), work the foam over the affected area and pat dry with a clean cloth. Shake and leave to dry, finish with a combing. Alternately, item can be dry cleaned.

36-48" x 22-36" x 4-6" wool lengths.
